ELEONORE SIAN COCKERHAM

THE STORY SO FAR

Yorkshire born singer and teacher Eleonore Cockerham, has been performing as a soloist internationally from the age of 12. Eleonore went on to study at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, where she studied under the tutelage of Mezzo Soprano, Louise Winter. In 2017, Eleonore was able to combine her love of performing and teaching with vocal ensemble VOCES8, after being selected to join the group as the youngest of their full time members from over 500 applicants. Touring across the globe performing, teaching, and workshop leading, Eleonore honed many skills to take with her into freelance work. Eleonore is comfortable singing in a range of styles, but sings most often in classical, choral or contemporary styles, and she has lots of experience performing as a soloist and with choirs. Most notable recent solo work includes; Soprano soloist, Bach's Mass in B minor- Melbourne Australia (June 2019), Soprano soloist, Mozart's Requiem-Houston, Texas (February 2019), Soprano Soloist, Hayden's Seven Last Words- Bridgewater Hall, Manchester UK (March 2019), Soprano Soloist, Handel's Messiah- St Ebbe's Oxford (December 2021), Soprano Soloist, An English Passion- Ripon Cathedral (April 2022), Soprano Soloist with Ensemble Altera, The Lamb's Journey Programme- Boston USA (August 2022).  Eleonore also has plenty of recording experience featuring on several albums, and singing as a soprano soloist on the soundtrack to feature film 'The Last Duel', and in season 4 of the Netflix series, 'The Crown'.
